FIELD: poultry processing industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the poultry processing industry, in particular to devices for processing quail carcasses. Quail carcass cutting apparatus comprises frame (1), drive wheel (10) and grasping wheel (16), leg guide (7) and leg cutting unit (5) in the form of an electric motor with disc knife (6) mounted thereon. Frame is made in the form of stand (1) with platform (2) fixed to frame (9) of bypass block (10) of the overhead conveyor with the possibility of adjusting it vertically, carrying knife-cutting unit (5) installed on platform (3) with its adjustable position horizontally, and leg guide (7). Drive wheel is bypass conveyor unit (10) connected by shaft (13) to flanges (12, 14) with gripping wheel (16) made of two interconnected discs, upper (17) smooth and lower (18) with grooves (19), wherein one of flanges (14) of shaft (13) is provided with annular grooves and makes it possible to adjust the gripping wheel about the longitudinal axis of the shaft.

EFFECT: automation of the operation of cutting the legs of quail carcasses and simplifying the design of the device is provided.
