FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the poultry industry, in particular to machines for poultry defeathering, and can be used in quail processing lines and other small birds, such as partridges. Machine for quail defeathering contains frame (1) with carrier bar (2) of a length exceeding the width of the machine in the working position by the amount necessary for an operator's free passage inside the machine during maintenance, washing and sanitary treatment. Frame (1) with carrier bar (2) is rigidly connected to carcass (14) of spatial overhead conveyor (15). Carrier bar (2) on rollers (4) has carriages (3) with vertical posts (5) with cases (8) mounted on them, containing operating devices in the form of rotating disks (9) with rubber fingers (10) mounted with two or more rows along the machine, and mechanisms for adjusting the position of bodies (11, 12). Diameter of rotating disks (9) does not exceed 85 mm, the distance between the centers of rotation of disks (9) horizontally and vertically does not exceed 100 mm, the length of the working part of rubber fingers (10) does not exceed 95 mm.
EFFECT: defeathering of quails and other small birds, reduction in the size and weight of the machine and improvement of the conditions for maintenance, washing and sanitization.
