FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to roofing tiles made of concrete material, as well as to a method for manufacturing such roofing tiles. Method comprises kneading a concrete material comprising a binder, a granular aggregate, a lightweight aggregate and water for batching. Mixture is formed by extrusion and the resulting molded extrudate is separated to form cut portions. Cut parts are hardened. Ratio of water to binder is less than 0.3. Lightweight aggregate consists of a material that is hydrophobic and/or non-hygroscopic. Roof tiles after solidification have a density in the range of 1.6 g/cm3 up to 1.9 g/cm3. In highly stressed areas, preferably in the area of watercourses, the tile has a thickness of 5 mm to 9 mm, preferably 7 mm to 8 mm.
EFFECT: technical result is the reduction in the weight of the tile without reducing the strength of its characteristics and the universality of the application of the tile.
