FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry and relates to IR spectrometric method for determining a non-hydrocarbon lubricating-cooling liquid in compressed air. Method includes finding, prior to refueling the compressor, an analytical relationship between the concentration of the non-hydrocarbon cutting fluid (NHCF) and an analytical signal and the selection of compressed air from the compressor in the operating mode on the acetylcellulose filter AFA-HA. Next, the NHCF is extracted with carbon tetrachloride for at least 10 minutes in an ultrasonic bath and the resulting solution is analyzed at 1,100 cm-1 and an optical path length of 1.02 mm. Data obtained are used to determine the concentration of NHCF in compressed air from the previously obtained analytical dependence.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the sensitivity and speeding up the measurement process.
