SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for fastening rails. Rail fasteners include a metal sleeper, a spring clip and a mounting bolt. In the metal sleeper, longitudinal grooves and transverse supports are made. Fixing bolt is installed in the longitudinal groove with guaranteed clearance, the spring clip is put on and the rail is attracted to the metal sleeper. Spring clamp rests against a transverse support on a metal sleeper. Transverse forces are transmitted through a spring clip into a transverse support on a metal sleeper.

EFFECT: increased service life of the rail fastening due to the distribution of lateral loads is achieved.
