SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of banking equipment. Device for temporary storage of paper money contains a pair of winding tapes for capturing paper money, a large winding drum for temporary storage of paper money, upper module of the winding drum, the lower module of the winding drum and the input / output opening for paper money. Hole for money contains a pair of interlocking holding rollers. Upper retaining roller is provided on the upper axis of rotation. Lower retaining roller is provided on the lower axis of rotation. Large winding drum has a lower channel guide plate. One end of the lower channel guide plate is rotatably provided on the lower axis of rotation. Other end of the plate is resilient with respect to the free end formed by tensioning the spring towards the large winding drum. Tail portion of the free end has an arcuate shape, concentric with a large winding drum. Arcuate area surrounds a large winding drum at an angle of 40–50 degrees. Lower channel plate is provided with a rotating wheel disposed thereon.

EFFECT: damage to banknotes and the formation of bent corners on them are prevented.
