SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a drum (21) which wraps on itself a banknote BL which is gripped by pairs of belts (28L, 28R, 30L and 30R), together with said pairs of belts. Torque limiters (25L, 25R, 27L and 27R) are provided separately for each of the coils (24L, 24R, 26L and 26R) with a belt. The torque limiters control torque between the coils with a belt and rollers (22 and 23) of the axis of rotation of the coils such that tension applied to the belts between the coils (24L, 24R, 26L and 26R) with a belt and the drum (21) is constant. This provides stable gripping of the banknote and prevents defects when processing carriers.
EFFECT: high reliability of operation by providing constant tension in the upper and lower belts of the apparatus.
