FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: rubber-coating device (30) for steel wire (100) comprises: heating device (50) for heating water to a specified temperature range; heat transfer rollers (40A, 40B) having grooves on surfaces around which steel wire (100) is wound, water channel (44) is formed inside the rollers; and extruder (60) for applying rubber to steel wire (100) heated by heat transfer rollers (40A, 40B).
EFFECT: technical result achieved by using the device of the invention is maintaining temperature of the steel wire in a predetermined range, id est preventing heating of the wire to excessively high temperatures during application of rubber.
