METHOD OF REMOVING THE DEFORMATION OF OUSTEOHONDROUS ZONE OF THE NOSE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/24

Abstract RU 2670912 C9

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, maxillofacial and anaplastic surgery, and can be used to eliminate deformation of nose formation. Hydropreparation of the skin in the tip of the nose and lateral nasal wall is conducted. Inverted V-incision of the skin in zone of columella is performed and continue it with two marginal intranasal incisions on the atrium of nasal passages. Adipo-dermallayer sheet and perichondrium are mobilized, exposing the upper and lower lateral cartilages. Osteotomy of nose’s ossas and exsection of chondral structures are carried out. Autograft is positioned in zone of deformation of osteohondrous part of the nose. Floating subepithelial connective-tissue autograft is used as the autograft. Autograft is taken in the bony palate zone by aquadissection of mucous coat of bony palate, conducting two parallel incisions of the mucous coat from the canine to the second cheektooth of maxillary bone, receding from the gum margin 3–5 mm, spaced 3–5 mm apart each other. When the medial incision is made, the mucous of bony palate is cleaved in the subepithelial sheet to the median palatine suture. Lateral incision is performed to the periosteum with the subsequent fence of a floating subepithelial connective-tissue autograft 5–25 mm long and 5–15 mm wide and its deepithelialization.

EFFECT: method allows to eliminate deformation of the osteohondrous part of the nose with high functional and aesthetic results, minimize injuries to the donor’s zone by using the floating palatine subepithelial connective tissue autograft used as a soft-tissue autogenic interseptum between osteohondrous structures and skin integuments, choosing safer and less prone to the complication of the donor’s zone and simplification of the method of taking floating palatinal connective tissue graft.
