SUBSTANCE: pants-type disposable diaper wherein inner cover body (200) being joined to an edge section on the crotch side in a width direction center area in ventral-side outer cover body (12B), to form inner cover body joined section (12Z), front/rear direction length on the waist side being more extendable to the crotch side than this inner cover body joined section (12Z), and the waist-side section of inner cover body (200) being more movable towards the crotch side than inner cover body joined section (12Z) relative to dorsal-side outer cover body (12B).
EFFECT: invention provides the production without requiring a stretching step for an outer cover body and an excellent fit at an edge section around the legs.
