SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and relates to a method for producing a lyophilised synthetic pulmonary surfactant, comprising introducing into a lyophilising chamber a pre-lyophilised mixture, comprising at least one phospholipid and a synthetic peptide dispersed in a solvent, lowering the temperature inside the lyophilising chamber to start cooling and solidifying the pre-lyophilised mixture in the freezing phase and conducting the annealing phase before the primary drying phase. Group of inventions also relates to a lyophilised synthetic pulmonary surfactant composition, wherein the lyophilised synthetic pulmonary surfactant composition has a specific surface area of at least 2.2 m²/g.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides the preparation of lyophilised pulmonary surfactants having an increased specific surface area and porosity.
