FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to medicine. Methods for isolating a high molecular weight protein complex for the activation of human caspase-2, formed in cancer cells in response to DNA-damaging chemotherapeutic treatment, are proposed. Cancer cells are incubated in the presence of a DNA-damaging chemotherapeutic drug until the maximum level of caspase-2 activation is obtained. Cells are harvested, followed by addition of a lysis buffer, separation of the cell debris from the lysate containing the high-molecular caspase-2 activation complex, separation by gel filtration of the resulting cell lysate, with the separation of fractions containing high-molecular forms of caspase-2 from fractions containing its monomeric forms and isolation from the fraction containing high-molecular forms of caspase-2, a high-molecular protein complex of caspase-2 activation.
EFFECT: proposed group of inventions provides an effective isolation of the complex of activation of human caspase-2.
