FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the foundry. Parting paint for foundry molds and rods contains, by weight: 18–22 metakaolin, as filler – 28–31 zircon powder, and as a binder – 2.5–4.5 bentonite and 1.3–1.7 dextrin and water.
EFFECT: provides high sedimentation resistance of the paint, improves the coating ability and ensures the absence of mold on castings.
