SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of foundry. The composition for the preparation of a non-stick coating, which is a dry mixture, includes, wt.%: 20-28 cryptocrystalline graphite, 22-30 sugar as an organic water-soluble binder and 45-55 chamotte clay. Sucrose or glucose or fructose or table sugar are used as sugar. To prepare a non-stick coating, water is added to the dry mixture in an amount of 50-500 wt.% of the dry mixture mass.

EFFECT: increased sedimentation stability of the coating based on the inventive composition while increasing the strength of the coating layer to abrasion, which contributes to the production of castings without burn-in.
