FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to non-sticky heat-resistant paints applied to inner surface of graphite foundry tooling, and can be used in production of castings from reactive metals and alloys. Non-sticky paint for graphite foundry equipment during melting and casting of reactive metals and alloys contains, in wt%: yttrium oxide or calcium zirconate in form of a powder with a particle size of not more than 10 microns - 42.4, technical carboxymethyl cellulose - 1.1, toilet soap - 0.7, water - the rest. The method of manufacturing non-sticky paint is characterized by the fact that all components are simultaneously loaded into a ball mill without preliminary dissolution and mixed for 18-20 hours until the final product is obtained.
EFFECT: obtaining paint with high sedimentation resistance, coating strength against abrasion, possibility of application by pneumatic method, as well as a method of its manufacturing in one operation.
