FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image analysis. Reference signal is processed on the display device and the reflection of the reproduced signal from the target is analyzed to determine whether it is live or not, the analysis includes spatial and/or time band filtering of the reflected signal and determining RGB values for each frame in the reflected signal and/or in each pixel in one or more frames of the reflected signal, calculating the frame level and/or pixel correlations between the determined RGB values and the reproduced signal, and using one or both correlations to perform a determination of whether the supplied image is a live object or a falsification.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the reliability of detecting the difference between a live, authorized person and falsified video and/or images.
