SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation devices and can be used, in particular, in control systems of generator sets with a drive from an internal combustion engine. Digital five-channel relay with self-diagnostic function includes first 1, second 2, third 3, fourth 4 and fifth 5 receiving sensors of the corresponding settings (receiving relays), first 6, second 7, third 8, fourth 9 and fifth 10 logical elements NOT, first 11, second 12, third 13, fourth 14, fifth 15, sixth 16, seventh 17, eighth 18, ninth 19, tenth 20 and eleventh 21 short pulse formers, first 22 and second 23 logical OR elements, pulse generator 24, AND gate 25, pulse counter 26, memory unit 27, numerical comparator 28, first 29 and second 30 RS flip-flops, memory register 31, status indicator (of fault 32), START bus 33, third OR gate 34, delay element 35, twelfth shorter pulse driver 36, and diode 37. In memory block 27, binary codes K27 of numbers equal to 2i-1, where i is the address number i=0…5 (000002, 000012, 000112, 001112, 011112 and 111112).
EFFECT: expansion of functionality, increasing the reliability of output information by increasing the number of controlled channels.
