SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conversion equipment and can be used to power frequency-controlled AC and DC electric drives. Converter comprises first to twelfth analogue-to-digital converters (ADC) 1…12, first to twelfth subtractors 13…24, first to eleventh least voltage selection blocks (BVNN) 25…35, first to twelfth logic elements AND 36…47, a switch 48, a memory block 49, a voltage amplitude setting register 50, a frequency setting register 51, a summing counter 52, a stable pulse generator 53, a logic element OR 54, and a numerical comparator 55. The least voltage selection blocks 25…35 have the same structure including a numerical comparator 56, a first 57 and a second 58 n-bit electronic keys, a first 59 and a second 60 short pulse shapers, a logic element OR 61, an RS trigger 62, and a memory register 63. Switch 48 is connected to the supply voltage buses A, B, C, and 0. The switch includes first to twenty-eighth electronic keys 64…91, an RS trigger 92, a pulse distributor 93, a START bus 94, a first 95 and a second 96 output terminals of the converter, and a logic element NOT 97. The converter also includes a third 98 and a fourth 99 n-bit electronic keys, a two-digit electronic key 100, a mode switch 101, a single-level signal bus 102, and an output voltage polarity switch 103. The invention provides the possibility of generating an alternating voltage of a set frequency and a constant voltage of a set magnitude and polarity.
EFFECT: expanded range of operating capabilities due to the possibility of creating a constant voltage of a given magnitude and polarity.
