FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger with self-regulating heating surface area, which includes inlet fitting, cavity "A", piston, housing, spring, cavity "B", stop plate with opening, drain fitting, inner and outer cuff, exhaust connection, heater tube(s), cover, lower and upper nuts, heating surface, adjusting nut, stem, wire. Self-regulation of heating of coolant in heat exchanger occurs spontaneously due to increase in heating surface of heater tube(s) by moving down along heater tube(s), piston by means of spring, preliminary compression of which is regulated through thrust washer by means of adjusting nut, and reduction of heating surface and complete disconnection of heating is provided by using rod that disconnects supply of hot heat carrier.
EFFECT: heat exchanger with self-regulated surface area of heating is proposed.
