FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of paints and relates to a method for producing a one-pack silicate paint, which can be used to paint products from various mineral materials, such as concrete, silicate and ceramic bricks, natural stone, used both indoors and in atmospheric conditions. Method comprises mixing a film-forming agent based on liquid sodium glass and a polymer water dispersion, pigment, microtalc as a filler, and diluting the resulting mixture with water. At the same time, a styrene-acrylic dispersion of the Ruzin-4G brand is used as a polymeric water dispersion, and titanium dioxide is used as a pigment. Additionally, sodium polyacrylate is added as a dispersant and camelina oil as a defoamer. Components used in the following ratio, wt. %: liquid sodium glass – 13.2–14, aqueous copolymer unplasticized dispersion based on styrene and acrylic acid esters – 43.9–46.6, titanium dioxide – 4.4–4.7, microtalc – 15.4–16.3, sodium polyacrylate – 0.44–0.47, camelina oil – 3.4–3.6, water – the rest. False flax oil is pre-emulsified in liquid sodium glass in a vortex layer apparatus. Remaining paint components are added to the resulting emulsion, mixing all with an overhead stirrer at a speed of 250 rpm for 25 minutes.

EFFECT: increase in paint life, a reduction in the time needed to make paint, an increase in covering power, and an increase in the durability of coatings formed from it.
