FIELD: heating equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an energy-saving coating with a thermal indication effect for a metal surface, i.e. to heat engineering, and is intended for use as heat insulation of metal surfaces on pipelines and other process equipment used in oil production and processing enterprises for process stations for refining extracted oil and process equipment, including oil refineries, oil and gas, steam pipelines, heat and power supply enterprises – nuclear power stations, hydroelectric power stations, boiler houses, reduces thermal emissions (infrared radiation (IRR) and contact temperature) into the environment, on the area of radiating elements of process equipment, which includes all mechanical units and surfaces of elements of process circuits operating in the temperature range on the metal surface from -60 to 300 °C. An energy-saving coating with a thermal indication effect for a metal surface based on Moutrical material comprises at least six layers arranged on said surface and having heat-insulating layers and additional screening layers. Coating is made with successive alternation of heat-insulating layer, then screening layer, with upper layer, which is heat-insulating, screening layer has thickness of 0.1–0.15 mm, heat-insulating layer – 0.4–0.6 mm with total coating thickness of 2.3–2.8 mm. Screening layer is made of composition containing, wt%: white soot BS 120 2–6, microtalc 6–12, titanium dioxide 2–5, acrylic dispersion styrene-acrylic CHP539 40–50, thickener Acrisol RW 8 0.2–0.8, Altiris pigment 2–6, Reflex 5000 White pigment 10–30, water – the rest, heat-insulating with a thermal indication effect – from the composition containing, wt%: titanium dioxide 3.5–5, zinc phosphate 1.5–6, white soot BS 120 2–5, microtalc 2.5–5, organosilicon hydrophobisator Silres BS 1001 6–9, antifoaming agent Foamaster 0.3–0.5, glass microspheres 12–18, quartz aerogel 2.5–7, preservative Parmetol A26 0.1–0.4, Bioban 536 biocide 0.2–0.5, coalescent Texanol 2.2–4.5, corrosion inhibitor Ascotran 0.2–0.6, silane A 187 – adhesion promoter 0.3–1, acrylic emulsion Akratan AS02 42–50, thickener Natrosol 250 0.1–1, Acrysol RW 8 thickener 0.3–0.5, water – balance.

EFFECT: invention reduces heat emission (IRR and contact temperature) into the environment, on the area of radiating elements of process equipment, which includes all mechanical units and surfaces of elements of process circuits operating in the temperature range on the metal surface from -60 to 300 °C, as well as reduction of heat losses of insulated equipment of thermal units, enables to provide early detection of defects of insulated metal surface during its operation with subsequent rapid elimination thereof.
