FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the power factor correction devices, operating in the wide range of input voltages to high-capacity capacitive drives. Feature of the PFC is the introduction of a network rectifier made on controlled keys with two-sided conductivity, introduction of the second serial and parallel switches and three additional current sensors. Control feature of the PFC is the use of the first pair of serial and parallel keys in the accumulator charging mode, the second pair of keys in the accumulator discharging mode, use of the network rectifier keys control to ensure synchronous rectification in all operation modes, as well as use of received from the additional current sensors information in order to ensure the recoverable and returned to the network electrical power factor is almost equal to one and protect the PFC keys.

EFFECT: technical result consists in achieving of the power supply power factor of almost equal to one, both with the unlimited capacity capacitive accumulator charging and in the output voltage stabilization mode when operating to the active or complex load, as well as in the accumulator discharge mode, when the previously accumulated therein energy is returned to the network.
