FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to AC to DC voltage converters that can be used in secondary power supply systems for power factor correction, converting, regulating and stabilizing a DC output voltage. The device contains an inductor (1), connected through a regulating switch (2), implemented in form of back-to-back field-effect transistors (MOSFET), the control electrodes of which are combined into a common point, connected to the control circuit (12), to an alternating voltage source. The circuit consisting of a series-connected capacitor (3) and the primary winding (4) of a power transformer (5), the secondary winding (6) of which is connected through rectifier diodes (7, 10) to series-connected filter capacitors (8, 9), in parallel with which the load (11) is connected. In the proposed power factor corrector, the beginning of the inductor winding (1) is connected to the first pole of the input AC voltage source, the second pole of which is connected to the second pole of the input AC voltage source through a controlled counter-series switch (2). The series circuit consisting of a capacitor (3) and the primary winding (4) of the power transformer (5) is connected in parallel with the counter-series switch (2). With the beginning of the secondary winding (6) of the transformer (5), the anode of the rectifier diode (7) is connected, the cathode of which is connected to one of the terminals of the capacitor (8). The second terminal of the capacitor (8) is connected to the winding end (6). The winding end (6) is connected to one of the terminals of the capacitor (9), the second terminal of which is connected to the anode of the rectifier diode (10), the cathode of which is connected to the beginning of the winding (6). A load (11) is connected in parallel with the capacitors (8) and (9) connected in series. The control electrodes of the counter-series switch (2) are combined into a common point and connected to the pulse-width controller (12), the second output of which is connected to the common connection point of the counter-series switches (2).
EFFECT: formation of a constant output voltage from an alternating input voltage, ensuring the continuity of current flow from an alternating voltage source and its in-phase with alternating voltage, implementing galvanic isolation between input and output circuits, combining the control circuit of back-to-back controlled switches and simplifying the control circuit, improving the performance of the power factor corrector and eliminating low-frequency ripples in the output DC voltage.
