FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a mirror installed in an automotive sun visor in the vehicle interior. Transformable mirror assembly includes a housing, a flexible mirror operatively connected to the housing, a guide system and a movable mechanism. Guide system is located on the body and includes upper and lower guiding elements. Movable mechanism is operatively connected to the body along the guide system and the flexible mirror and is adapted to move the flexible mirror between the first and second operating states. Flexible mirror is substantially flat in the first operating condition and further curved outward in the second operating condition.
EFFECT: it is possible to move the mirror between flat and curved configurations.
