FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. In the method, the mirror assembly for the vehicle is adapted to pivotally interact with the ceiling part of the vehicle forming a cavity. Said mirror assembly is located in the cavity in the closed position and contains a locking element and a rotary damper. Said locking element is located in the body of the mirror assembly and is configured to hold the closed position. Further, a rotary damper is located in the housing and configured to maintain the rotary position of the mirror assembly relative to the ceiling. In the first embodiment, the ceiling console assembly for a vehicle contains a case for sunglasses, a mirror assembly and an axial engagement assembly. Said case for sunglasses forms an outer perimeter located in the ceiling console. Further, the axial engagement assembly attaches the mirror assembly to the case for sunglasses and contains a damper. According to the second variant, the ceiling console assembly for a vehicle contains a console forming a cavity.
EFFECT: compact arrangement of the mirror assembly for the vehicle is achieved.
