FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering. For this purpose, the calculation of the geometric heterogeneity parameters of the surface of the microstrip transmission line is carried out sequentially in three stages: in the preparatory stage, a micrograph of the surface of the microstrip transmission line is made, for example, with the help of scanning electron microscopy, input of initial data, calculation of depth of skin layer; in the second step, the gradient of the inhomogeneity over the indicated inhomogeneity region is specified, parameters of the deepest cavity and the calibration ruler on the microphotography of the surface of the microstrip transmission line and based on the recursive method of digital processing of micrographs, and processing the heterogeneity mask; at the final stage, based on the input data entered and the resulting surface heterogeneity mask, an equivalent RLCG model of the microstrip transmission line is constructed, taking into account the parameters of the geometric heterogeneity of its surface.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the accuracy of computer simulation of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility of designed microwave devices in the extended range of operating frequencies up to 100 GHz or more.
