METHOD FOR DEVELOPING SUPER-VISCOUS OIL DEPOSITS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC E21B43/24 E21B7/04

Abstract RU 2672272 C2

FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-producing industry. Method for developing super viscous oil fields includes drilling a pair of horizontal upper injection and lower production wells, horizontal sections of which are placed parallel one above the other in a vertical plane, heating the formation by injecting steam into both wells. After the formation of the steam chamber, three regimes of development of super-viscous oil deposit are alternately cyclically used. First regime involves injecting steam into the injection well and holding it in the formation for 24–48 hours. Second mode involves processing the productive interval of the upper horizontal injection well of the formation by physical action – a device for generating elastic pulses in the hydrosphere of a horizontal well and holding for a technological pause to redistribute the filtration streams within 18–30 hours. Third regime includes the extraction of extra-viscous oil from the production well before the value of the steam-oil ratio increases 1.3–1.5 times. In this case, water vapor is periodically circulated in the injection well in the second and third regimes.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of development of deposits in super-viscous oil fields, a decrease in the viscosity of oil, ensuring sufficient warming up of the formation to create a steam chamber, reducing energy costs from heating and coolant pump-in, reducing the cost of production of hydrocarbon raw materials, increasing the duration of the production of directly super-viscous oil, and improving the permeability and porosity properties of the reservoir.
