SUBSTANCE: method consists in forming a vacuum in the bottom part of the body and sucking out the medium, including a boundary layer, from the lateral surface of the body to its bottom through a channel connecting the side surface and the bottom of the body. Moreover, a stream of atmospheric air is formed in the channel, which is made in the form of a helical surface. The helical stream rotates the body around the longitudinal axis. The device for reducing the bottom resistance of the body in the form of a projectile or bullet includes a body in the form of a projectile or bullet with a channel connecting the side surface and the bottom of the body. And the channel is made in the form of a helical surface, which through the holes in the nose of the body communicates with the atmosphere. The channel in the form of a helical surface is located between the body (shell) and the central body part, made in the form of a parallelepiped with a rectangular base, the ribs of which are twisted about the longitudinal axis by 180°.

EFFECT: decreasing the bottom resistance of the body in the form of a projectile or bullet.
