FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural equipment and is intended for cutting tree and shrub branches, in particular for cutting and removing hops from crop wire. Clipper contains a telescopic rod and pivotally connected spring loaded knives. Clipper contains mounted on the rod slider 25 with cutting unit 23 supporting hops and unit 24 capturing the stem of hops with flexible cables of their control. Hip capturing unit is located on the lower plane of the slider, and the cutting unit is on its upper plane. Slider has the ability to move along the clipper bar up and down with flexible cable 26.
EFFECT: such an implementation of the clipper will allow extending its functionality, reducing the damageability of hop cones due to smooth removal of the fruit part of a vine from crop wire and its controlled descent for further processing, in addition, the working conditions of an operator are significantly improved in terms of ease of doing work.
