FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to radioanalytical chemistry and can be used to control the content of radionuclides in fresh and sea water, in the urine of people affected by radiation incidents, and in samples of various technological solutions. Method of determining the content of radionuclides in aqueous solutions includes the extraction of radionuclides from aqueous solutions by filtering the solution through a column chamber, filled with selective sorbent, fixed on both sides of the outer and inner grids, moreover, through the external grid the aqueous solution enters the column chamber, through the internal grid the aqueous solution flows out of the column chamber, drying the selective sorbent, measurement of the activity of the radionuclide concentrate; moreover, before measuring the activity of the radionuclide concentrate, the sorbent layer is moved close to the external grid that contacts the radiation detector. There are also two options for performing a device for extracting radionuclides from aqueous solutions.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to increase the efficiency of measuring the activity of a concentrate of radionuclides extracted from an aqueous solution.
