FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to rolling bearings, and concerns the dynamic stability of rotors. It can be used in devices with rolling bearings of rotors of turbopump units, which are subject to tightness requirements for vibration loads. In the method, the elastic support comprises housing (2) of the bearing, rolling bearing (3), sleeve (4) mounted on the outer ring of the bearing with the possibility of radial movement. Sleeve (4) contains clamps (5) uniformly spaced around the circumference. And a damper is installed on the outer surface of sleeve (4), made in the form of elastic ring (6) of homogeneous material, provided on both sides with protrusions evenly spaced around the circumference in a checkerboard pattern. Further, the difference between the diameters of the ring (D1-D2) on the protrusions is 2–3 % of the outer diameter. And the width of the protrusion S is 1–2 % of the circumference along the outer diameter of the ring. Excess of the protrusion over the minimum section S1 of the ring is 5–8 %. Minimum section S1 of the ring is located on the axis of symmetry of the adjacent outer and inner protrusions, and the elements of the protrusions are associated with the radii forming the minimum section of the ring.

EFFECT: reducing the load on the elastic bearing of the rolling bearing, which guarantees its reliability; elimination of rotor jamming during rotation; seal tightness; the exclusion of the appearance of the resonant mode while maintaining stability of the amplitude of oscillations and operating gaps between the rotor and the housing; high damping properties of the support contribute to the reliability of high-speed rotors.
