SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles. Vehicle contains a source of driving force, an automatic transmission and an electronic control unit (ECU) for performing the first and second driving modes. In the first mode, the driving force and gear changes are performed at the request of the driver. In the second mode, the target state of the movement is set independently of the driver’s request, and the driving force and gear changes are performed. Condition for shifting gears is the upshift and downshift condition. Magnitude of the hysteresis between the condition of the inclusion of up and down transmission in the first mode of movement is different from the magnitude of the hysteresis in the second mode. Computer changes gears on whether to perform gear changes in the second driving mode with a smaller hysteresis value than the hysteresis value in the first mode. Computer prevents shifting when the upshift or downshift is engaged to a greater degree in the second driving mode than in the first mode.
EFFECT: increased fuel economy.
