SUBSTANCE: method of fixing the product on the technological equipment for avoiding longitudinal displacement and the limiting mechanism for its implementation are related to the field of technological equipment for arrangement and the transportation of products, in particular long-length bulky items, such as rockets. Method of fixing an article on the technological equipment from longitudinal movement is that the product is placed on a technological equipment equipped with two spring-loaded rods intended for use with different products, in this case, before placing the product on the process equipment, it is possible to freely move the rod to the corresponding product, while fixing the second rod at the same time. Limiting mechanism for carrying out the method comprises a housing, two spring-loaded bars disposed therein, and a key allowing the rods to be locked in the non-operating position.

EFFECT: method of fixing the product on the technological equipment for avoiding longitudinal movement and the limiting mechanism for its implementation have ease of implementation and design, allow to provide fixation from longitudinal movement of products with a complex cross-section, and also can be used for various products.
