FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of nickel-copper oxide catalysts on a heat resistant porous support, which can be used for combustion of any type of fuel: hydrocarbon gas, wood, coal, peat, wood and plant wastes, tyres and wood chipboards, detoxification of gas emissions as well as purifying and producing synthetic gas. A fuel combustion catalyst is described, which has heat-resistant porous support coated with nickel oxide and copper oxide, with the following ratio of components in wt %: copper oxide - 1.0-3.0; nickel oxide - 0.5-2.5, support - the rest.
EFFECT: high heat removal and ecological cleanness of the process of burning organic substances.
