SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for directional drilling wells, in particular to electromagnetic logging devices in parallel to well drilling. Disclosed is method of field geophysical survey for drilling of second borehole in certain position relative to first shaft in formation with high electric resistance, which includes: obtaining results of measuring resistance of formation of first shaft; determining expected level of ambient signal for second borehole in certain position relative to first shaft, at least partially based on measurement results of resistance of formation; comparing level of signal detection for first shaft with expected level of ambient signal to determine range of permissible values of distance transmitter-receiver and working frequency, which exceeds the expected level of ambient signal level of signal detection for first shaft; selection of, at least, one of values of distance transmitter-receiver and operating frequency of certain range and providing in assembly of drilling tubes of second borehole logging instrument with inclined antennae with specified distance between antennae and/or operating frequency. Invention also covers tool to implement this method.
EFFECT: high quality of signals when determining location of second borehole relative to first, due to optimisation of distance transmitter-receiver and operating frequency of logging instrument.
