FIELD: heating equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heating equipment, namely to heat exchangers with tubes with a developed heat exchange surface, and can be used in air cooling units, heat exchangers, refrigerators, waste heat exchangers, furnaces, which are used in various industries. Heat exchanger contains a casing with inlet and outlet nozzles for the input and output of hot and cold streams, profiled heat exchange tubes installed inside the casing in the tube sheets. Cross-section of the central part of each heat exchange tube is made in the form of a rectangle with rounded transitions between its sides, the aspect ratio of this rectangle being h=(0.1…0.5)b, where h is the height of the rectangle, and b is the width of the rectangle. Inlet and outlet parts of these tubes are cylindrical, providing a transition zone from the cylindrical sections of the tube to the profiled one. Flow area of the profiled cross-section of the heat exchange tube is equal to or greater than the flow area of each cylindrical section of the said tube. In this embodiment, cross-section of the tube has a shape of a flat spiral.

EFFECT: heat exchanger is proposed.
