SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry and is intended for pressing sheet tobacco in the manufacture of bales. Press for manufacturing the tobacco bales comprises a press chamber, a pressing mechanism, a baler ejecting mechanism, a baler pressing device, wherein the lever mechanism for pushing the bales out of the press chamber is made of a vertical two-arm lever, a pusher plate and a power hydraulic cylinder connected pivotally to the vertical lever, the pusher plate is mounted hinged on the horizontal lever and spring-loaded, connected by two springs with a horizontal lever, which has at the end a rack with a roller, contacting with the horizontal surface of the lower stationary press plate.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the preservation of the shape of the bales in the form of a straight parallelepiped when it is manufactured and the simplification of the construction of the mechanisms of ejection and bale preloading.
