FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: vibration damper assembly for an internal combustion engine comprises a crankshaft having a boss, having opposite sides with a fastening hole. Pendulum assembly includes a pendulum holder and a pendulum. Fastening hole is formed in the holder on the side of the boss. Fastener is installed through the holder inside the holder side. Vibration damper assembly for an internal combustion engine of a second embodiment comprises a crankshaft with a boss, a pendulum holder with a pair of lugs with a first and a second holes formed in each of the lugs. Fastening hole is formed on the boss. Fasteners pass through said holes. Vibration damper assembly of a third embodiment comprises a rotational member with a hole, a pendulum assembly with a pair of lugs, each having a hole with a long axis, a coaxial hole of the rotational member. Fastener is inserted in the first and second holes and hole of the member.
EFFECT: reduction of torsional oscillations of the engine crankshaft from the effect of 1st and 2nd order forces.
