FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the method and system for landing a helicopter on a ship. To land a helicopter on the ship receive and combine navigation information from the helicopter and the ship to determine the relative position of the helicopter and the ship and the speed between them, determine the speed and direction of the wind acting on the ship, the parameters of its spatial orientation, predict the rolling parameters, form the glide path parameters, calculate the glide path deviations based on the calculated parameters. System contains a ship navigation unit and an on-board navigation unit. Ship navigation unit contains at least two wind speed and direction meters, a multi-antenna satellite receiver comprising three antennas and a receiver of a satellite navigation system and a calculator, an inertial navigation module, a computational module containing a real-time cinematic navigation calculator, a calculator of rolling parameters, calculators of glide path parameters and glide path deviations, a signal information parameter calculator, a transceiver, information display means. Onboard navigation unit contains an antenna and receiver of a satellite navigation system, an inertial navigation module, a computational module, a transceiver, an onboard information display system.
EFFECT: provides increased safety of landing the helicopter on the deck of the ship.
