FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway vehicles, in particular to the compressor units. Modular compressor unit contains a module frame and two compressor units, by elastic supports installed one above the other on the module frame. Compressor unit is equipped with two pneumatic pipelines, each of which is connected by the flexible hose to the corresponding compressor unit outlet fitting and includes the cyclone separator, the first safety valve, non-return valve, second safety valve, disconnecting valve, combined at the outlet into one pipeline, ending with the outlet fitting, allowing to connect to the locomotive pressure line. In the modular compressor unit frame the compressor units electrical equipment was installed, and on the outside of the modular compressor unit frame electrical connectors are made for this equipment connection to the locomotive power supply and control system.

EFFECT: enabling the modular compressor unit design improvement, reduction of its dimensions, and increase in the efficiency.
