FIELD: rail transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and may be used for control over cargo train brakes. Two-pipe braking system of railway rolling stock, containing motor-compressor; main reservoir; locomotive supply main line; reduction gear; shutoff controlled valve of locomotive feed main line; brake main line; supply main line; truck driver valve; spare tank; air distributor; brake cylinder; automatic braking mode control depending on load; throttle opening; reserve valve air return valve; return valve of air distributor operates as follows. By means of the operator's valve the pressure in the brake line changes and control of the air distributors responding to pressure variation in the brake line. Spare tank is connected with brake line via air distributor, and through check valve 2 and throttle opening 1 - with feed main line of train. At pressure drop in brake line air distributor communicates spare tank with brake cylinder via braking mode automatic regulator, which leads to train braking. At increase of pressure in brake main line, air distributor produces communication of brake cylinders with atmosphere. At that, spare tank is replenished simultaneously from braking and feeding main lines of train. Air is fed into the main feeding line of the train through reduction gear. Locking controlled valve is installed between the reduction gear and train feeding main line. Proposed two-pipe system can operate as a single-pipe system.

EFFECT: reduction of preparatory braking distance, increase of braking efficiency, reduction of brakes exhaustion probability, as a result of which train safety is increased.
