SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image capture device capable of transmitting a captured image to an external device, and particularly to a method of overlaying information such as image or a captured image. Result is achieved in that the image capturing device includes a receiving unit configured to receive a request for obtaining information on setting overlay information, and a transmission unit, configured to, when the reception unit receives a receive request, transmitting the maximum number of overlay settings that an image capture device can perform, and the maximum number of settings for each type of overlay information.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the maximum number of actually superimposed images from an image capture device for an external device, for which superimposed images are specified.
