FIELD: soil or rock drilling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drilling technique, namely to screw downhole motors. Downhole screw motor for drilling wells contains a spindle, into the shaft of which a rock-destruction tool is screwed, a cardan shaft, an engine bend angle regulator, a working body consisting of a rotor and a stator, the stator consists of a cylindrical metal sleeve and is provided inside the sleeve with an elastic lining with internal helical teeth to interact with the rotor placed inside the stator and provided with external helical teeth, the number of which is one less than the number of stator teeth. Elastic stator lining is made of Unikspur 2B092S polyurethane composition with a hardness of 92 Shore A units to 75 Shore D units, with a conventional tensile strength of 50 MPa, with a relative elongation at break of 450 % to 700 %, with abrasion 20–25 m3/tJ, ensuring long-term stable operation of the engine in the drilling fluid at temperatures up to 120 °C.
EFFECT: ensures an increase in the energy characteristics, resource and reliability of the engine with an increase in the torque force on the output shaft in the maximum power mode.
