FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for developing deposits of high-viscosity oil and bitumen under thermal effects includes the construction of a production well with a horizontal overburden in the reservoir, construction of an injection well with a horizontal open area located above the same section of the production well in the same formation, determination by geophysical studies of oil saturation in the zone of the producing well, depending on the oil saturation in the intervals with the least oil saturation, the injection of a waterproof composition, the injection of a coolant into the injection well and the selection of reservoir products from the production well. According to geophysical studies, in the injection and production wells, intervals with the lowest oil saturation are determined, into which a waterproof composition is pumped with a margin of 2 m on each side through the injection and production wells. As a waterproof composition, a gel-forming heat-resistant composition is used. After technological exposure for the setting of the waterproof composition, but before the injection of steam, the bores of the injection and production wells are freed from the remnants of this composition.
EFFECT: elimination of the coolant breakthrough to the underlying formation water, an increase in the oil recovery factor, and the saving of energy resources.
