FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for the joint production of cyclohexane and hexane solvent from a hexane-containing fraction isolated from a broad fraction of light hydrocarbons, including the separation of the hexane-containing fraction in a fractionation column, hydrotreating an isolated hexane-containing fraction in a volume ratio with hydrogen of 1:500–700, rectifying the hydrotreated hexane-containing fraction to separate the isohexane fraction and hexane solvent, hydrogenating the hexane solvent. Also, the top product of the fractionation column is sent to the hydrotreating reactor with the end of boiling not higher than 85 °C and a cyclohexane content of at least 3 wt. %, and the hydrogenated hexane solvent is sent for separation into a distillation column for separation from the top of the target hexane solvent with a benzene content of less than 0.2 wt. % and sulfur-containing compounds less than 0.0002 wt. % and from the cube of the target cyclohexane fraction.

EFFECT: obtaining from the hexane-containing fraction isolated from the broad fraction of light hydrocarbons, cyclohexane and hexane solvent with a benzene content of less than 0,02 wt% and sulfur-containing compounds less than 0,0008 wt%.
