FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and transport and can be used in electric rolling stock with pulse converters for controlling the speed of a traction motor in the start-up and electric braking modes. Device for regulating the speed of the traction motor contains a power source, an armature winding and an excitation winding of the traction motor, one pin of which is connected to the common ground connection point, the anodes of the first and second diode, the second pin of which is connected to the cathode of the pulse converter and the cathode of the first diode, the first terminal of the armature winding of the traction motor is connected to the common connection point of the thyristor anodes, the third diode and the pulse converter, the second output is connected to the common connection point of the cathode of the second diode and the contactor, another terminal of which is connected to the common connection point of the power supply and the cathode of the third diode, a resistor, the first output of which is connected to the thyristor cathode and another output of which is connected to the common connection point of the cathode of the second diode and the contactor.
EFFECT: improving the reliability and expanding the range of speed control traction motor.
