FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to a method for increasing the nutritional value of rough feed used as part of diet for cattle. This method includes cavitation processing of rough feed using an ultrasonic cavitator, whose frequency range of sound vibrations is 28 kHz, at a temperature of 30 °C, voltage 220 V, power 5 W, cavitation threshold 19 kHz. All tested feeds are ground to a particle size of 0.5–0.7 mm in a laboratory mill, module samples are prepared in a feed to water ratio of 1:5. Processing is carried out using a cathodic electroactivated water with pH 9 and redox potential – 400–500 mV and its amino acid glycine stabilizer – 0.5 wt.%. Further, the amount of sugar in the studied rough feed has increased by an average of 130.4–324.8 %, however, the amount of crude fiber has decreased by 17.9–39.0 %, respectively.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to process low-quality rough feed with a high content of hard-to-hydrolyze polysaccharides into a more nutritious product with a significant content of easily digestible sugars.
