SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and may be applicable for the surgical treatment of rectal fistula. At an angle of 45° relative to the dentate line of the rectum at a distance of not less than 5 mm from the edge of the internal opening of the fistulous passage, in both directions from its center, a straight-line incision is made in the rectal wall and the anal canal with a total length of at least 2 cm. Arcuate incision is made that goes around the internal opening of the fistulous passage and connects the edges of the straight-line incision. Linear relaxation incisions are made perpendicular to the dentate line of the rectum in opposite directions, thereby forming rectal flaps. Perform coagulation fistulous passage. Conduct plasty of the internal orifice of the fistulous passage by counter movement until the formed rectal flaps are in contact with their stitching.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of relapse, to reduce the hospital stay of patient.
