FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular to sealing of gas paths operating in variable climatic conditions. Sealing device is a plug in the form of a thin-walled cup with a bottom and side surface. Side surface of the cup comprises one or several successively conjugated sections of reduced rigidity, each of which consists of cylindrical and toroidal sections. Toroidal sections are turned with the convex side toward the axis of the gas path, and annular grooves are made on the inner wall of the latter in the area of the toroidal sections. Thus, the side surface of the plug with the wall of the gas path forms toroidal belts, which are filled with an adhesive composition based on a sealant that is elastic in a wide temperature range.
EFFECT: such a design allows the plug to open when a predetermined pressure is reached.
