FIELD: repair of holes in ship's hull and in pipe lines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device is used for repair of holes with ragged edges in hollow articles, for example, in reservoirs used for storage and transportation of various liquids. Proposed device has inner and outer sealing members interconnected by means of rod on which their retainers are fitted. Inner and outer sealing members are made in form of torus reservoirs hermetically secured on elastic cloths. In center of each cloth there are holes for passing of rod; rod is provided with thread on its outside for securing the sealing members with the aid of nuts. Interior of rod is used as passage for delivery of air to torus reservoirs through change-over valve. Elastic cloth of outer sealing member is provided with branch pipe for delivery of sealant to the cavity formed by inner and outer sealing members and branch pipe for bleeding the air from this cavity.
EFFECT: simplified construction; possibility of reuse of device.
